We as the people of God, are His messengers. Sometimes, the message is easy to deliver and sometimes the message is difficult. Sometimes God gives us a message on the spot, and sometimes He gives us a message in advance. Sometimes He will send people we know to deliver a message to us, and sometimes He uses strangers. He can use anything or anyone to get us, what we need.
Some people hate to see the mailman coming, because that means another bill or more junk mail. Some people love to see the mailman coming because they’re expecting a check or something good! Whether a person perceives the mailman as a sign of something good or bad, that’s their perception and not the truth concerning the mailman. The mailman isn’t responsible for what the mail says, he’s only responsible for delivering the mail to you!
When God gives you a message, deliver it… You didn’t create the message, God did! Don’t worry about if people will receive it or not. All that matters is that you delivered it, so that your conscience will be at peace. Jesus own kinfolk made fun of Him, but that didn’t stop Him from being Jesus! He knew who He was, and that’s the key! Know who you are in Christ. It doesn’t matter who receives or rejects you, as long as you know who you are and what God has anointed you to do. Too often we’d rather deliver feel good messages in order to avoid rejection, but we can’t be fearful or timid when it comes to God. Don’t worry about people who only see the messenger and ignore the message. The Word of God will reach whomever He intended to reach, and it will pass by whoever it was meant to pass by. Isaiah 55:11 says, “So is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.” God’s Word will do the work, all you have to do is trust God enough to speak it. Ephesians 2:10, “For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.”

#Coronavirus 🧟‍♂️ The world is going crazy… Whew Chile… if only people had this urgency when it comes their souls. If only we rushed to the throne of God, like people are rushing to the store. If only we protected our hearts from the snares of the enemy, like people who are going around with masks on their face. If only we racked up on love and kindness, the way people are racking up on soap and hand sanitizer. If only we were as serious about our eternal souls, as we are this temporary body. The world would be a much better place. It just amazes me what’s really going on out here in these streets! It’s funny to me. It’s like the zombie apocalypse out here! Meanwhile, my faith is still secured and I still don’t have any worries, because GOD IS STILL on the throne! A person can take all the precautionary measures known to man, in order to avoid this virus, but what precautionary measures are you taking to protect your soul? You’re covering your face with a mask, but are you covered with the blood of Jesus? Do you have on the helmet of salvation? You put on gloves, but do you also put on the breastplate of righteousness, the belt of truth and carry the sword, which is the Word of God? Do you carry the shield of faith, and do you wear the shoes of peace? These things are the things that’s really going to protect you. This virus not only shows us where our faith lies; it shows us that we can do anything, if we come together. Think about it. When we come together, we can help heal, protect and love each other the way God intended, but fear and panic will have you thinking each man for themselves. When people lives are at stake, ish gets real! Well folks, news flash 🚨: Your life is at stake every day. Any day could be our last. Not even the next our is promised to us. We should be this serious about our lives, everyday. Not just physically, but spiritually. We should be more concerned with where we are mentally as well. Is your mind stayed on Christ? Because if it is, even in the midst of all hell breaking loose, you will still be at peace, because Good God Almighty is STILL IN CONTROL. This is nothing more than a test of our faith to see who we really put our hope in. Many people hope in themselves, that’s why they’re living fearful. Their protection doesn’t exceed their own abilities, but when you are confident in Christ you have supernatural protection that goes beyond human abilities.
Psalm 91
1Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
2I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.”
3Surely he will save you from the fowler’s snare and from the deadly pestilence.
4He will cover you with his feathers,
and under his wings you will find refuge;
his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.
5You will not fear the terror of night,
nor the arrow that flies by day,
6nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness, nor the plague that destroys at midday.
7A thousand may fall at your side,
ten thousand at your right hand,
but it will not come near you.
8You will only observe with your eyes
and see the punishment of the wicked.
9If you say, “The Lord is my refuge,”
and you make the Most High your dwelling,
10no harm will overtake you,
no disaster will come near your tent.
11For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways;
12they will lift you up in their hands,
so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.
13You will tread on the lion and the cobra; you will trample the great lion and the serpent.
14“Because he loves me,” says the Lord, “I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name.
15He will call on me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him.
16With long life I will satisfy him
and show him my salvation.”

In Matthew 6:34, Jesus said, “Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.”
Jesus is basically telling us, to take things a day at a time. Focus on the present because tomorrow will take care of itself, just like today. There are things and people that needs our attention today. There’s a lesson to be learned today. There’s an assignment that God wants you to work on, today. Tomorrow will require, whatever that day brings, but today, utilize what God has given you on THIS DAY!
Don’t live today, by looking for tomorrow, and what I mean by this is, don’t miss being happy, don’t miss what God is saying to you, and don’t overlook the blessings and people you have today, because you’re so focused on what tomorrow may bring. What if tomorrow never comes for you? Will you have spent each day in vain? Are you wasting time or making the best of it? Are you choosing gratefulness today, or are you waiting until you get what you want in life, in order to be happy? You have everything you need, and that is what God promised. I’ve found that oftentimes we are looking to the wrong things or people to make our situation or life better. People and things brings temporary happiness, and money goes as fast as it comes… sometimes even sooner, but Jesus is the well that never runs dry. (See John 4:14)
You may not be where you want to be in life, but you’re still here, which means your story isn’t over. While you patiently wait on the promise, there’s work to be done, today. Be a good steward over the present, because today is a gift from God. What we choose to do with today, determines our tomorrow. Don’t worry about anything that’s out of your control. Listen to the voice of God. Don’t be anxious about anything, as the Bible tells us. The Holy Spirit will tell you what you should do. Sometimes, God will say be still, sometimes He will say step out on faith, and in both cases, oftentimes we’ll be like “say what?” It takes both faith and patience to either be still or step out on faith and do something that makes no sense to the human mind, but makes complete sense to God. So, make the most of the day by being faithful and grateful for everything God has given you. You have everything you need for today, stop worrying about tomorrow. Tomorrow will not make things better, if you can’t find joy in today, or if you’re not making the best of today. Being a faithful steward over what we’re graced with today, teaches us how to manage the blessings of tomorrow.

Father God, in Jesus name. I come to you on behalf of the broken today, Lord God. Those who have been emotionally, mentally, sexually and physically abused by a family member, a spouse, a friend, themselves or anybody. God, I ask you to hear this person’s cry, from the depth of their soul. Comfort them with your Spirit and heal them with your love. Let them know, that you’re here to help them pick up the pieces and move forward with their life. Keep them from replaying the hurt and the betrayal in their minds, and teach them to focus on you. Let them know that even now, in the midst of what they’re going through, you have a plan for their life. For you’ve said, in Jeremiah 29:11, your plans for for them are good and not evil, and to give them hope and a future. Lord, let them know that they don’t have to be a victim, through you they are victorious! They can more than conquer any negative words spoken against them, or any force sent to stop them. Let them know that even now, in all the pain they’re feeling, the weapon formed still won’t prosper, because you can turn their pain into purpose. Let them know that you know their pain Jesus, remind them that you went through unimaginable pain, and yet you died for us when we were your enemies. Let them know that you love them that much! I pray that they completely allow you in their hearts, so that you can live their pain away. When they feel as though no one loves them or cares, God let them remember you. You sent your own son to die in our place, and He rose again, so that we can live. Lord, help them to release the anger. Don’t allow them to continue the vicious cycle of hurt people, hurt people. Free them God, and let them know that vengeance is yours! You said in your Word, that you will repay! Keep their minds from dwelling on who did it and why. Help them to stop looking for an apology that may never come, and give them peace of mind, so that they will move forward and live the life for which you’ve purposed. In the name of Jesus, I declare that depression, anxiety and fear has to go! Increase their faith, Jesus. Help them to meditate on your Word. I pray that they give whatever load they’re carrying to you! Give them the strength to forgive, so that they can be free! Don’t allow them to continue giving power to those people and those demonic forces sent to oppress them. I pray that these individuals accept you in their hearts and that they receive your peace. Let them know that they don’t have to carry their past into their future. The enemy thought he had them, but in Jesus name, I decree and declare freedom in their hearts, in their minds and in their souls. God, fill them with your Spirit. Deliver them from the bondage of their past. Give them a clean heart. Heal their wounds. Mend their broken hearts, and give them beauty for ashes! In the unmatched name of Jesus Christ! Amen. Isaiah 61:1-3

“The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners,

to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn,

3 and provide for those who grieve in Zion— to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the Lord for the display of his splendor.

From time to time, my kids recall a lesson they all learned when they were in elementary. I’d made plans to surprise them with dinner and afterwards I’d planned to take them to this place they loved, this place has the very best, shaved ice ever! My kids and I loved this place, when we lived in Kansas. Anyway, when my kids were small; they weren’t allowed to have chewing gum, because the gum would end up in their hair, in their covers, on their clothes, carpet, and just about everywhere, so I told them, no gum! However… I found out that they’d been eating gum behind my back, because I caught my youngest daughter chewing gum, and she had a whole pack. So, you know what, I taught them the lesson that there’s consequences for your actions. I told them how I was going to surprise them with dinner and afterwards we were all going to get shaved ice. Then, I told them, because of their disobedience, we weren’t going. They were sad, but guess what, I cooked dinner and they went to bed, fed, just like they did every night. My kids learned early, that obedience brings rewards and disobedience yields consequences.

I said, all of this to say, “Don’t mess this up.” Don’t allow your desires, feelings or your will, to keep you from all the good things God has in store for you. In Deuteronomy 1, it talks about how everybody except Joshua and Caleb, missed out on the promised land, because they chose to disobey God. Don’t be like the children of Israel and allow your disobedience to keep you from the promise. 1 Samuel 15:22 (BSB), says, “But Samuel declared: ‘Does the LORD delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices as much as in obedience to His voice? Behold, obedience is better than sacrifice, and attentiveness is better than the fat of rams.’” God wants our hearts to be set on Him, so that we can enjoy all the good things He has in store for us. He will take care of us, regardless, but when you obey, that’s an act of faith, and your obedience is what causes God to show up in your life and do what people deem impossible! Obedience gets prayers answered, obedience causes miracles to happen, obedience will cause God to do put favor on your life, unlike you’ve ever dreamed! God will go over and beyond for you. 1 Corinthians 2:9 says, “But as it is written: “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.” Anybody can claim to love God, but you know what Jesus said, in John 14:15-16, “If you love me, you will obey my commandments. Then I will ask the Father to send you the Holy Spirit who will help you and always be with you.” This shows us that there’s not only a great reward, but there’s power in your obedience. Our obedience doesn’t benefit God, it benefits us! Don’t mess this up! Just like I cooked and my kids ate, as they always have before their act of disobedience. God will always, take care of you, just as He has in the past, but your obedience will cause Him to bless you in ways, you can’t imagine! Unexpected blessings will follow you! Revelation 3:8 says, “I know your deeds. See, I have placed before you an open door that no one can shut. I know that you have little strength, yet you have kept my word and have not denied my name.” You want that special prayer answered? You need a miracle? You want to clearly hear the voice of God? Then, practice obedience. I implore you, people; to get out of your feelings, renounce your will, and to obey the Word of God. For your own sake, please, don’t mess this up.

God, I come to you on behalf of those who are exhausted. Those who’ve prayed and cried, worked and waited and still haven’t seen the results they’ve been praying for. I ask you to shift their hearts and minds on you, and not their problems. I ask you to give them your strength, your peace and your joy. May their hope be in you Lord, and not in the things they may think they lack. For your Word says, Those who who trust in you lack no good thing. Lord, reassure those who feel like they’re alone or that their life is at a stand still that, you are the God who goes before them and who are with them, and it is you who makes their paths straight. Give them the assurance that as long as they are looking to you first, and allowing you to guide them, then they are exactly where they’re supposed to be. Help them to recognize the purpose for which you’ve created them, and give them the wisdom, knowledge and understanding of how to use their gifts for your glory. Keep their minds stayed on you. Fill them with your Spirit. Increase their faith, and Father God, give them rest. For we know that you’ve equipped us with everything we need in life. Help them to tap into the power of the Holy Spirit when they want to tap out. Remind them that the real treasures are in Heaven and not the temporary pleasures of this world. I pray that you cover them with your blood. Strengthen them with your power. Calm them with your peace. Secure them with your love. Fill them with your Spirit & Complete them with your joy. It’s important to stay focused on God, because if you don’t, ANYTHING can trigger you! You don’t want to be someone who’s emotionally unstable, you want to be someone who’s of sound mind at all times, and someone whose thoughts are governed by the Holy Spirit. So, in order to have that perfect peace in the midst of chaos, you must hold fast to God’s Word. You must believe God’s Word, no matter how you feel or how things look. The enemy will have you look at everything that’s gone wrong in your life. His job is to keep you focused on what you lack, or focused on your failures and disappointments. His job is to allow keep you focused on other people’s blessings, so that you forget to count your own! When you focus on the wrong things, you’ll feel defeated, unfavored and alone. These are reasons that God wants our undivided attention, at all times, because we are not alone! We are more than conquerors and His grace is sufficient! God knows that glorifying our problems and not Him, will cause us to become lost in our feelings and perceptions, instead of walking in the Spirit of Truth. So, focus on God! Another way to stay focused, is to have a heart of gratitude! Praise God at all times. In the good, the bad and the ugly, because you know that all things are working for your good! The Word of God says, in 1 Thessalonians 5:18, “In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.” Philippians 4:6-7 says, Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. “And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” Thanksgiving is an act of faith! Whether you are thankful for the blessings you’ve already received or you’re giving God thanks for the blessings you’re about to walk into. When you thank God, you’re acknowledging that your blessings comes from Him! You’re saying, “Jesus, I trust you with my life.” So, stay focused on God, and always have a heart of gratitude and that’s how you overcome the tests and trials of life and keep what you go through, from getting on the inside of you! People have gotten so overly sensitive that if you don’t agree with the majority, you are considered a bully, hater, ignorant, fearful or callous… 🤦🏾‍♀️ This is just a way to dumb people down into a certain way of thinking. A way of thinking that has nothing to do with the Word of God, but everything to do with certain agendas, but people are too into their feelings to recognize what’s really going on. Ephesians 6:12, “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” Open your eyes people. This isn’t a people issue, it’s a spiritual battle. The enemy is against anything of God or anyone of God. People are deceived into thinking that when someone states their opinion or doesn’t agree with their actions, that person is coming against their “freedom”, but your freedom isn’t what’s really at stake here… it’s your soul, and as long as you operate outside the will of God, you are in bondage… I don’t care how free you think you are! You can feel as free as an eagle, but your feelings will deceive you too, if you follow them and not the truth. John 14:6, “Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” Jesus, is the truth. We must get out of our overly sensitive feelings, and follow Him. Don’t follow a lie, straight to hell, because you were too afraid to speak the TRUTH to a world of zombies. You can’t allow fear to stop you. Matthew 10:28, “Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, be afraid of the One who can destroy both soul and body in hell.” Too many people, especially those who claim to be saved, are afraid that they’ll lose their life, if they give an unpopular opinion or speak the truth (Word of God). I’m not talking about their eternal life, I’m talking about the fact that they are afraid of being uncomfortable in this life. They’re too concerned with what people think, and that’s dangerous! John 12:25 (CEV), “If you love your life, you will lose it. If you give it up in this world, you will be given eternal life.” This means, we must live for Christ and not ourselves. This battle is bigger than you and I. This is a spiritual war, and people, it’s your soul that’s at stake, not your physical freedom! It’s a shame that we have so many self proclaimed, “woke people” but a lot, if not most of them, are still asleep… following the masses… Let people have their opinions and stop following the popular vote like a bunch of zombies that has stumbled upon someone else’s life, and is ready to destroy it until the person becomes just like them… a zombie. Dead… brainless… heartless… a lost soul, with only one agenda, and that is to make others conform to the zombie way of thinking and being. No thanks. If I stand alone, I declare that I stand in the strength and authority of Jesus Christ, equipped with the full armor of God, protected by a host of angels and most importantly, covered in HIS blood. I will not fall for overly sensitive tactics used to make me conform to the world and this zombie way of thinking. I will love everyone, just as Christ loves me, we can agree to disagree on certain things, but just as you have the right to do, say and be who you want to be, I have the God given authority to stand in TRUTH. I know who the real enemy is, and the weapons may form, but they will not prosper! In Jesus name. Amen.

Sometimes, you have to love people from a distance… If they make you sick, literally, I’m talking about to your stomach, because you’re so stressed out, anxious and upset about how they’re mistreating you. Do not be afraid to love them people from over here. You let them stay over there, and for the sake of your peace of mind and well being, you keep your distance. Set some boundaries. You have to when dealing with toxic individuals, and don’t expect more from them than you should. Expect people to be exactly who they are, because when you get excited about their potential, those false expectations are only setting you up to be disappointed. Psalm 118:8 says, “It is better to trust in the LORD Than to put confidence in man.” You see, the problem with many of us is that we get excited too quickly. When someone’s nice to us or treats us better than we’re used to, we get excited, and we jump right in. We trust them, without testing their spirit. Just because someone makes you FEEL good doesn’t mean that they have good intentions. That’s how evil lures you in. The enemy gives you what you want and then he destroys you, if you let him. That’s why we must be on guard and in the Spirit at all times because the enemy is waiting to catch us slipping, but aren’t you glad that we serve a God, that even when we don’t know we’re in danger, He’s protecting us! Good God almighty! I could shout right there. That is why it’s very important that we remember Proverbs 3:5-6, “Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.” Our own understanding will have us somewhere jacked up… broke, busted and disgusted, because we put our trust in our feelings and allowed our hearts to lead us into the hands of people who mean us no good. You can’t trust your heart. It’s flesh and desires the things of the flesh. Jeremiah 17:9, says, “The heart is deceitful above all things
    and beyond cure.
Who can understand it?” If you can’t trust your own heart, who can you trust? I’ll tell you who. The Spirit of God. 1 John 4:1 says, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God.

Sometimes, going through a difficulty is necessary, in order to gain perspective, and in order to achieve lasting change. Sometimes we get too comfortable in our own little bubbles and our realities become hazy. When this happens, God is like, “No, I have way too much in store for you. You can’t stay here in this comfortable place.” Oftentimes that comfortable place is not God’s best, but our best. God’s best for our lives, challenges our comfort zones. I’m reminded of a song by Kirk Franklin. The song’s entitled, “Just For Me”. The chorus to this song says, “It don’t feel good
But growing never does
It don’t seem fair
For you to call this love
But if necessary pain
Is the ingredient for change
Even when life may be bittersweet
It’s working
Just for me.”
Lord, have mercy. If this isn’t the truth, I don’t know what is… More often than not, it’s our pain that leads us to our purpose. It’s those seasons of difficulty that reveals our true character and the truth of those around us. It’s a shame that sometimes, we have to lose some things, in order for God to show us who are really for us and who’s not. It hurts that sometimes we must lose what we perceive as best for us, in order for God to show us, we can do better. It’s terrible that we can know the truth about a matter, but live a lie until we’re negatively impacted as a result of us turning our heads. Then, we finally wake up when the truth slaps us in the face, because the truth hurts, which is why we don’t like facing it in the first place… The fact of the matter is, we can all do and be better, but as long as we do and be whatever’s in our comfort zone or within our power, we will remain beneath the level in which God has called us. So, he has to burst our bubble, and take us through. He has to stir the winds and seas of our lives a little bit or a lot of bit, 😂 and He has to rock our boats, just so that we find ourselves in Him. (Read Matthew 8:24-27) God has to disturb what we consider peace, in order to stir our faith. Think about it. If you didn’t go through something, you wouldn’t be who you are today. You may have hated what you were going through then, but you’re thankful for it now. Going through teaches us to trust God. It teaches us to get out of the comfort zones of our lives, just as Peter got out of the boat, and it teaches us to step out on faith in Christ, if we want to achieve the impossible in life; just as Peter did, when He focused on Jesus and walked on water. (See Matthew 14:25-31) Whether life pushed us out of our comfort zones or we stepped out on faith, I believe that if we really think about what we went through, we can all agree that with Jesus, the worst parts of our lives made us better. 💪🏾 Romans 8:18, “I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us.” You should shout, “I’m better for it! In Jesus name!”
