God will bless you with the desires of your heart but you must pay attention. He doesn’t send it the way you think, so you must be prepared, have an open mind, and use the discernment of the Holy Spirit. Sometimes there’s a test before the blessing. So make sure you past the test, because if you don’t, you’ll be forever stuck in the lesson, when your blessing is right around the corner. Treat people with love, compassion and kindness. Fix your thoughts on Heaven and not on earthly things. Be alert and stay woke. God is answering your prayers right now! Don’t limit Him to how you think He will respond, be on the lookout! He uses people, places and things to communicate with you. It’s raining… no not outside, I’m talking about your blessings! Look up! The favor of God is raining down on you! You have passed the test and now it’s time for your reward! 🙌🏾❤️ Blessings!

Matthew 25:23

His lord said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant; you have been faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.’

Time to lay those burdens down-
Aren’t you tired of carrying them around-
Aren’t you weary of overthinking-
What if I told you, you can conquer those demons-
What if I told you that you aren’t alone-
What if I told you that your house could be my home-
all you have to do is let me in-
and the fears, anxieties and pain will end-
I’m not promising you that life will be problem free-
but I promise you that in me, you’ll always have perfect peace-
I will always love you and I will never leave-
I will answer every call, you can always count on me-
I just want you to know that you’re not in this by yourself-
so cast your cares on me, and let me your present help.

***Hope this poem serves as a source of encouragement for anyone going through and just needs a mental break. I love you but God loves you more. Never forget that! ❤️

It’s surreal. I feel like I’m in a dream that I’ve yet to wake up from.
Ever since I was a kid, I’ve always had dreams about the end of the world, or I’ve had strange dreams that, let me just say, I was glad to wake up from… but this, this is not a dream, it’s actually happening. This is not a TV show about the apocalypse, or zombies, this is real life, and we’re all locked in our houses trying to avoid this zombie of a virus whose named Covid-19. We’re taking the necessary precautions, not to get bitten by this monster and become its next victim. Although the Coronavirus is scary, the bigger monster is fear. The bigger monster is always the one you can’t see… remember that… Anyway, I’m not making light of this virus because it is definitely real, and sadly it has cost a lot of people their lives, but at the same time, many people have recovered from it as well. So, there is hope; and that is how you defeat fear.3AB01F1B-FE56-4CDF-8D02-91A61780E2D3
Romans 5:3-5
“Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; 4 perseverance, character; and character, hope. 5 And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.”
Don’t allow this virus, fear or anything you go through to steal your joy! Put your hope in God! Yet praise Him, because even now, He’s still God. Situations change, but our GOD does not. He is still in control. All power is still in His hands, and He and only He will get us through this. We’re not on our own, left to figure things out. All we have to do is go to Him and trust Him. Don’t fear getting sick, don’t fear not being able to pay your bills, don’t fear going hungry, don’t fear dying! Put your hope in God, so no matter what comes your way, God is with you and will see you through. Fear is only a factor when our focus is off. God’s Word is true. He is our source, everything else we have in this life is just a resource. So, don’t live in fear. God is our provider. God is our healer. God is the resurrection and the life. No matter what comes our way, and no matter how long this thing we’re going through takes, we are secured in Him. By HIS stripes, we are healed; spirit, body, nation and land. In Jesus name. 🙏🏾

Psalm 121 (KJV2000)

1I will lift up my eyes unto the hills, from which comes my help.
2My help comes from the LORD, who made heaven and earth.
3He will not allow your foot to be moved: he that keeps you will not slumber.
4Behold, he that keeps Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.
5The LORD is your keeper: the LORD is your shade upon your right hand.
6The sun shall not strike you by day, nor the moon by night.
7The LORD shall preserve you from all evil: he shall preserve your soul.
8The LORD shall preserve your going out and your coming in from this time forth, and even forevermore.

Stop worrying. Seems like when things are bad, we worry about when things will become good, and when they are good we worry about how long the good will last. Can we ever just enjoy the moment? Whether we’re going through or coming out, many of us are anxious anyway, and God doesn’t want us to live anxiously, He wants us to be at peace in any situation. You know what anxiety is? It’s a side effect of fear and doubt. I call those two ungodly spirits “the twins” because those two forces roll together. If doubt is around, fear is nearby, and vice versa. So, the important thing to remember when times are good or bad, is that God is with us, and His Word is true, no matter what situations we face. God is not someone who switches up on us according to what’s going on in our lives. Things change, people change. God does not! Hebrews 13:8, “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.“ In Malachi 3:6, God said, “I am the Lord, I change not.” These are things we need to remember, before we fear our uncertainties. We must stop doubting God, and believe that He is with us in every situation; especially the ones we do not understand, because those are the most crucial, there’s a bigger purpose behind it. Give yourself a break, and what I mean by that, is take a breather and rest your mind, heart and soul in the care of the Lord. When you feel yourself becoming anxious make this affirmation, “God is with me, He will help me, I am not alone!” This affirmation is backed by scripture! I talk about the importance of speaking scriptural affirmations everyday. Positive affirmations should be a daily part of our lives, or several times a day if you’re someone who’s constantly battling that demon. Don’t feel down about it, keep fighting it with the Word of God, and you will defeat it! The way to overcome anxiety or anything that’s not of God, is to not give in. James 4:7, “Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.“ Remember, whether you’re doing good or bad, the SAME GOD is always with you! Ecclesiastes 7:14, “When times are good, be happy; but when times are bad, consider this: God has made the one as well as the other. Therefore, no one can discover anything about their future.” For more inspiration, listen to this. https://anchor.fm/shubricca-bell/episodes/Transforming-your-mindset–A-positive-shift-from-negative-thinking-eb7k9r

Waiting has a way of bringing out a person’s true character. An individual’s response to the wait shows them where their focus is. It also reveals what a person truly believes, especially when faced with a situation that they have no control over.
Philippians 4:6-8 New King James Version (NKJV)
6 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; 7 and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
8 Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things.”
Before anxiety kicks in full force and you respond in fear, pray. When you pray, don’t worry. Go in faith, asking God what would He have you to do. Don’t take matters into your own hands and try to manipulate the situation because the consequences are worse than waiting. Sometimes, it even makes the wait longer. Trust God’s response and be at peace, even if His response is not the answer you wanted. Still know, that He is God, and although we don’t always understand what He’s doing right now, we will understand later. In John 13, Jesus washes His disciples feet. Jesus washed their feet because He was sure of Himself, His Father and His purpose. Peter couldn’t understand it. He asked Jesus, “Lord, are you going to wash my feet?” Peter was probably thinking, this is absurd. You are the Son of God. I should be washing your feet. John 13:7, “Jesus replied, “You do not realize now what I am doing, but later you will understand.” This scripture is a reminder, to trust God, even when you don’t understand what He’s doing. Why? Because God is always sure of Himself and He knows the plans He has for you! (See Jeremiah 29:11) If you read John 13:8, You’ll see that at one point, Peter told Jesus, no. “You shall never wash my feet.” Jesus told Peter, “Unless I wash you, you have no part with me.” You see, Peter needed some understanding, in order to see what Jesus was doing. When he understood, his perspective changed. But what happens when Jesus doesn’t tell us why? What should we do when we don’t understand what God is doing? We should have the same mindset as Christ. After all, the Spirit of God lives in us. So, we should be sure of our God, sure of ourselves and sure of our purpose or what God is saying to us at that time. If we are sure of who God is, it leaves no room for anxiety, because our confidence is in Him. We know that all power is in His hands. If we are sure of who we are in Christ, then we know that His love completes us, and there’s no room for fear, because His Spirit lives in us and makes us powerful. We should be sure of our purpose, because knowing that will help us stay focused on our mission. If you’re not sure of your purpose, there’s hope, so don’t be discouraged. Seek God’s will and ask Him what is it that He requires of you in this season, and those things will lead you to your purpose. The bottom line is, stay focused on Christ, and don’t allow what you go through to get on the inside of you. The enemy uses fear as a means to divide and conquer people, but God uses love as a way to restore faith and bring people together. Many people think that the opposite of fear is faith, but it’s not, it’s love. The Word of God tells us, in 1 John 4:18, “There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.” Secure yourself in the love of God. His love is sure to protect, affirm and keep you. Jesus said, in John 10:10, “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.” Seek life today, and be filled with the love of God through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Now is the time, more than ever, to respond with love instead of react with fear. Be kind to one another. Treat people the way you want to be treated. Be compassionate. Show sympathy. Smile. Encourage and support one another. We don’t know what tomorrow will bring, but one thing’s for sure, love will get us through it, if we stand together. Stand in love or fall in fear. I make this pledge, to love. ✊🏾❤️ Will you do the same? 1 Corinthians 13:13, “And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.”

Anxiety will cause a hopeful person who’s in dire need of peace, to rush out of a bad situation into something far worse. Which is why God wants to be our peace in the midst of the storms in our lives. If we can’t find peace in Him, even in a bad situation, then we will never find it. As long as you lean to your own understanding, rely on your own strength or capabilities, or look to other people or things first, then you leave no room for the wisdom of God. A part of the wait, is learning to trust God and being a good steward over your current blessings. We show God that we trust Him and we show Him that we’re good stewards by being obedient to His Word. Listen to that still small voice. Pay attention to what He reveals to you. If you don’t understand what He is saying or showing you, then ask for wisdom. Do not allow anxiety to cause you to take matters into your own hands, outside the will of God. If you’ve ever asked the question, “What am I supposed to do while waiting on God?” The answer is, “Be obedient.” There’s nothing harder than being obedient when you have to wait. Especially, when you don’t understand why you’re waiting or you’re unsure of the future. In times like this, remember, speak and meditate on Jeremiah 29:11, “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
Nothing can stop God’s great plan for those He has chosen; however, impatience and doubt can make things harder for that individual as well as prolong the wait before reaching their destiny. You know what amuses me? When someone throws petty indirect messages, directly at you, but the 💩 backfires and comes back to them like a boomerang.
I be like, “Oh, that was meant for me? No thank you.” Now, they’re stuck with the insults or jabs they’ve tried to throw at you. You see, you don’t have to receive or respond to anything that anyone says about you or says to you. Words have power, be it negative or positive. If they speak negatively about you, reject those words in Jesus name, and keep it pushing. That’s only their opinion, of you and not your truth. Let them have their opinions. They can keep it, eat it, shove it up their butts or do whatever they want to do with it. Other people’s opinions of you don’t belong to you, it belongs to them. You know the funny thing about someone who always has something negative to say about you? They’re so worried about you, that they can’t see nor correct what’s wrong with them. They can’t mind their business because they’re overly concerned about yours. Matthew 7:4-5 says, “How can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when all the time there is a plank in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.” In other words, attend to your own business before concerning yourself with mine. I’m glad that I learned long ago that, you can’t please everyone. Not everyone will like you, support you or love you, and that’s okay. As long as you’re honoring God, and you love, support and believe in yourself, you’re good! Keep those positive vibes regardless of the negativity or shade thrown at you. When people throw shade your way, respond with sunshine. Let your light speak for itself. If you need to defend your character, do so without stooping to their level. You only have to stoop to people who are beneath you. So, continue to rise above the pettiness. Say what you have to say with class and grace. Don’t argue, don’t fight, don’t get your blood pressure up or stress yourself out. Let them do all of that, meanwhile; you let the insults roll off of you like water on a duck’s back. Their hatred and insults shows everyone who they really are. Nine times out of ten, it shows them to be guilty of the very things that they accuse you of. Go ahead and get your shine on! Shine so bright that the shade they try to throw on you, casts a shadow on them. Proverbs 26:27, “If you set a trap for others, you will get caught in it yourself. If you roll a boulder down on others, it will crush you instead.”
