Whenever you disconnect anything from a power source, that thing looses power. It doesn’t matter what it is. It doesn’t mean that thing is no longer a TV, a refrigerator or whatever… It’s still what it is, it just can’t do what it was designed to do because it lacks power… I’ll explain further, later on, but let me just say this; God is not responsible for the consequences of how people use their free will. As a matter of fact, He’s not responsible for people’s actions… period. James 1:13-15, “When tempted, no one should say, ‘God is tempting me.’ For God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does he tempt anyone; but each person is tempted when they are dragged away by their own evil desire and enticed. Then, after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, gives birth to death.”
It irks me when people blame God for the choices that we as people make, and then expects Him to come down from Heaven to save us! NEWS FLASH: He came down once to save us, and the next time that He comes is for judgement. People have been playing the blame game since the beginning of time, beginning with Adam and Even in the garden of Eden. So, it doesn’t surprise when folks blame God for their own poor choices or the shape the world’s in… The next scripture sums up why we’re in the predicament we’re in.  ➡️ 2 Timothy 3 :1-5 King James Version (KJV)

“This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.” The way to come out of our way of thinking and doing is simple. Jesus told us this, when one of the Pharisees tried to test Him. The man asked, “Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?” Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’” – Matthew 22:36-39

The truth is, God is not responsible for people’s foolishness. Blaming God is a lazy way of saying, I refuse to be held accountable for my actions, or in the words of Cain, “I am not my brothers keeper.” Thinking this way is both selfish and irresponsible. Whether we like it or not, we must love each other in word and deeds. God doesn’t make us do right by each other. He doesn’t make us do right by ourselves. He doesn’t even make us do right by Him! He has given us instructions, however, it’s up to us to follow His Word. The problems of the world doesn’t mean there’s an absence of God. The problems of the world is a result of people’s disconnection to God (the TRUE power source). The power of God is still there! God is still God. He’s still King of Kings and Lord of Lords. He is still the Lord God strong and mighty. He is still able to deliver. Nothing is impossible for Him. However… there is a loose connection on our end and we are in dire need of a reconnection… like yesterday. Each day God graces us with life, is an opportunity for us to get connected, and stay connected with Him. We can do so much more with Him than without Him. As a matter of fact, without Him, we’re as good as refrigerator without electricity. Everything in us is wasted. It doesn’t mean we don’t have good or even greatness within us. It just means without His power, our own goodness and talents are wasted. You can even think of it as being in a place that offers free WiFi, but you not having the access code! The access code to everything we need is Jesus, folks! Everything God has for us is accessible, but only through Him. God created us with purpose, but we can’t live purposefully, without His Spirit. 2 Chronicles 7:14, “Then if my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and restore their land.” So, my good people… the question shouldn’t be, “Why isn’t God doing anything?” The question should be, “Why aren’t we?” Make it personal. Ask yourself, “Self… What can I do to make the world a better place or at least the world around me? How can I show the love for my God and love for my fellow man?” The first step is to secure the connection. 😉

Have you ever been at a crossroads in your life and wasn’t sure of which way to go? Maybe it wasn’t something as major as a crossroads. Maybe you were unsure of what you should do in a small situation that could have a big consequence if you made the wrong decision, therefore you needed God’s guidance. We all know God’s will for our lives, but what about when you need specific instructions on a particular matter? Well, I have good news, your specific instructions are in the Bible, and you’ll know 100% if God wants you to do something because whatever He is telling you will align with His Word.

Proverbs 3:5-6

Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight.

The above scripture is the answer to the question you may be pondering. DO NOT LEAN ON YOUR OWN UNDERSTANDING!

Do you know what our own understanding is governed by? It’s governed by human logic. It’s governed by what we see.

It’s governed by anxiety. It’s governed by fear. It’s governed by us! The problem is, God is no where in any of these things, and when God isn’t in it, it’s (whatever you’re dealing with) headed towards disaster. Your unique problem may not be in the Bible, but there is an answer specifically for you, in the Bible!

James 1:5

If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.

Listen my fellow sisters and brothers in Christ, God will answer you. Talk to Him like you’d talk to your best friend, and He will respond like a good best friend and a good Father. Ask Him to remove anything that’s keeping your heart from receiving His Word. Get out of your feelings so that you can receive His peace.

Last, but certainly not least; upgrade your faith!

I believe that sometimes God doesn’t do things for us, because He wants us to make the right decision. He’s always with us, but He doesn’t always baby us. Just like us as parents, sooner or later we have to put our baby down so that he or she can learn how to crawl, then we have to allow them to stand on their own and eventually walk. Our Heavenly Father is like this with us! He will comfort and teach us what to do, then He will expect us to use the wisdom He’s given us to make the right decisions in life.

The answer we need isn’t always going to be as simple as black and white, and God isn’t always going to give us a sign so that we’ll know exactly what to do. Like a baby, we have to put one foot forward, and step out on faith, knowing God is right there to cheer us on and help us. There will be times when you just have to go in faith, because there is no right or wrong answer, it’s simply your choice! Sometimes faith will be all you have.

I will tell you this, as long as you’re going in faith (no matter what the situation is) and you have pure motives, God will honor your faith. Faith is always the right answer! God wants us to trust His voice, not what we see. His voice isn’t always going to make sense to us, especially when we’re on a timeline, because that’s when anxiety kicks in. Anxiety tells us that we need to take control of the situation.

Fear tells us that we’re running out of time, but faith tells us that God is right on time and always in control!

If you’re struggling to find the answer you need, and the answer isn’t simple, then go in faith! God will back you! Remember, “Share your plans with the Lord and you will succeed “ – Proverbs 16:3 (CEV)

Mark 9:23

“What do you mean, ‘If I can’?” Jesus asked. “Anything is possible if a person believes.”

When the answer isn’t clear, just go in faith! Faith is always the right answer!
