Three reasons to speak positive affirmations over your life.

1. When you wake up speaking positive affirmations that’s backed by scripture, over your life, it sets the tone for the rest of your day. Then, when you encounter a problem, the Holy Spirit will remind you of that affirmation, and that will help you keep things in perspective. It doesn’t matter what challenges the day brings, a positive affirmation that’s backed by the Word of God, can help you conquer them. A good affirmation to help you kickstart the day. “I will be happy and thankful, because God has blessed me to see a new day.” This affirmation immediately humbles you, and makes you approach the day with happiness and gratitude. The scriptural reference for this affirmation is, Psalm 118:24, “This is the day that the LORD has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.”
2. Continuously speaking positive affirmations over your life, changes your mindset, and as a result, changes your life. When you speak positive affirmations to yourself, over and over again, it trains your way of thinking. It teaches you not to focus on your problems, but to approach the day or situation with hope. Romans 5:5, “And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us. Speaking positive affirmations teaches us to live by faith and not by how we feel or what we see. It reassures us that God is with us, and gives us the willpower to accomplish what we could not do, if we lean to our own understanding, which is governed by what we go through.
3. Positive affirmations boosts our self confidence. It changes the way we view ourselves. Whether we speak these good truths over our own lives or speak them over others, it can take a person from, “It’s too difficult for me,” to “I can do this, because Christ lives in me.” Immediately, that affirmation makes one feel powerful! The scripture to back this affirmation is, Philippians 4:13, “I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.” Positive affirmations instills a sense of purpose, courage and self worth within yourself, and when you speak these great words of wisdom and faith into the hearts and minds of other people, it can change the trajectory of their lives. God didn’t put us here to only speak good things over our own lives, there are others who need these positive affirmations as well. Have you ever had a loved one or friend, who was faced with a challenge and didn’t think that they had what it took to overcome? What did you do? More than likely, you spoke a positive affirmation over them. You may have said something like, “Come on, you’ve got this. You’ve got this. You’ve,” and by the third time you’ve began to repeat that affirmation they’re joining in with you like, “I’ve got this.” Again, a good scripture to back this is Philippians 4:13. So, in conclusion, remember, words have power. Make positive affirmations backed by scripture, a daily part of your life, several times a day. What’s your go to Bible verse for anything? Create your very own positive affirmation from it. Repeat it in the morning, noon, and night, and as much as you need to throughout your day!
The more you speak these affirmations over your life, the more it gets inside of you and the more it transforms your mind until you begin to believe and live what you are saying. Positive affirmations aren’t just feel good messages, when they’re backed by scripture, you are declaring the Word of God over your life. So, it not only sounds or feels good, it’s the God honest truth. ❤️❤️❤️
Be blessed.
