He can make it better.❤️

Do you remember when you were a child and you were running or playing just having a good old time, and then you fell and scraped your knee or elbow? You’d start crying and remember how compassionate your mom or dad was when they’d say, “Are you okay?” While checking to see if you were hurt, they’d find a scratch or scrape and called it a “boo boo”. They’d say, “Aww you have a boo boo, let me kiss it to make it all better, and you’ll be okay.” They’d kiss it and give you a warm hug and smile then ask, “Is it all better?” You’d nod yes or say yes, and go back to playing as if you never fell. “Be careful,” your parents would say. Now, the scraped up knee or elbow was still there. The pain was still there, but your focus no longer was. As an adult, God wants to do the same for you. You may have fallen. You may have gotten hurt pretty bad. You may have had to cry sometimes, but God is saying, “Let me kiss “it” and make it better.” You see, when you take your focus off the pain, disappointments, mistakes and distractions and you give them to God, things begin to change. When you trust Him with your wounds and praise Him despite the pain you’re enduring, you start to heal. You feel the benefits of glorifying His name, immediately. The problems didn’t go away, but your focus on them did. You trust God’s Word over your situation, feelings or issues. Just by knowing that He loves, cares for you and has promised to never leave you, gives you motivation to keep going no matter how bad you’re hurting. “But those who wait upon the LORD will renew their strength; they will mount up with wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not faint.” – Isaiah 40:31 We know that trouble don’t last always, but even in troubled times, if we bless God and praise Him in the midst of our problems, one touch from Him will have a positive life changing effect that extends beyond a lifetime. ❤️

Matthew 11:28-30

New Living Translation

Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy to bear, and the burden I give you is light.”
