Psalm 34:1 says, “I will bless the LORD at all times; his praise shall continually be in my mouth.” When your situation tries to steal your joy and snatch your praise from your lips, I dare you to have the audacity to decree and declare what David said in Psalm 34:1. I dare you to praise God like a mad man or woman, despite what it looks like, despite the negative things people have said about you, despite how you feel, despite everything that’s coming against you! I dare you to praise God! Why? Because He is still on the throne and the world, the things or people of the world, or what happens in it are not a reflection of who God is! He still sits high and looks low. He still has all power in His hands! He’s still the GREAT I AM! Come on somebody! He is still God and He is still in control. I dare you to praise Him for the simple fact that He’s ordering your steps, even when the path is rocky. I dare you to praise Him when things seem to be all bad, because you know without a shadow of doubt that it’s working for your good! I dare you to praise Him because victory doesn’t always look like your situation, it’s about your mindset and God can turn any pain into purpose! I just feel a shout in my spirit this morning, because I’m grateful. I love the Lord. He is good and His mercy endures forever! 1 John 4:4 says, “You are from God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world.” If you don’t insert a shout right there, I’ll do it for you! Listen there are forces out to discourage you by trying to steal your focus. If they can get you to focus on what’s wrong, you’ll never see the blessings in front of you or ahead of you! If you just believe right now, that because of the blood of Jesus, you’re greater than those evil forces, you’re greater than loneliness, or a financial situation, or disease! You’re greater because God is in you and He is bigger than what you go through! You ought to give Him a victorious shout right now! Make a declaration that you’ll no longer get salty over petty matters. If someone wants to walk out of your life, hold the door open for them. If your bank account says it ain’t gonna happen, you say, the devil is a lie! “My God will supply all my needs according to His riches and glory in Christ Jesus.” When the doctor says there’s no hope, you say, I respect your professional opinion doc, but “I will look to the Hills from which comes my help, my help comes from God, the maker of Heaven and earth.” Listen folks, stop allowing life to do you bad and combat the bad with a praise! It will not only make you feel better, but it will shift the atmosphere and change the trajectory of your life! In Jesus name. Amen!!
