Heart check and adjustment.

Stop worrying about things that hasn’t even happened! God took care of you in the past and is providing for you now. Be secure in Him, and not the things of this world. Looking to the things of this world for security, causes anxiety, but fully trusting God to supply your needs causes peace. Don’t allow depression to get you down about where you are in life. Consider this: Just because you’re not where you want to be in life, doesn’t mean you’re not where God has called you to be. You have an assignment right where you are! Don’t overlook this season because you’re too anxious about the next. What you do in this season will determine if you even get to the next. It’s all about your mindset. Where is your focus? Is your focus on the things of this world or the Kingdom of God and His will for your life? Before you allow what you don’t have to suck you into a hole of despair, remind yourself of who’s on your side! The Great I AM! The King of Kings and the Lord of Lords! Don’t put your trust in worldly things. Let your hope rest securely in Christ. He will never let you down. No matter what it looks like in the natural, believe that He is who He says He is, and that He has your best interest at heart. He will never leave or forsake you and He provides for you daily.

Matthew 6:19-21 New International Version (NIV)

Treasures in Heaven

19 “Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. 20 But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. 21 For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
