Empty words hold weight.

Stop speaking from a place of desperation! Don’t say, you’ll never be good enough. You don’t have what it takes. You’ll never be happy. You’re at a disadvantage or you’re only good enough to be a side! Look… that’s godless thinking! If you claim to be a child of God then 🗣 quit being double minded! You want to know what double minded means? James 1:6-8

“But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. That person should not expect to receive anything from the Lord. Such a person is double-minded and unstable in all they do.” If that wasn’t enough to break it down, let me give you another scripture to help anyone who needs more understanding… 2 Timothy 3:5, “Having a form of godliness, but denying its power: from such turn away.” 😕😨 YIKES! How many of you see yourself or has seen yourself in either of these scriptures? ***Slowly raises hand*** Look, we do it all the time by the words we speak and the things we do. We allow time and circumstances to dictate our outcome instead of trusting God wholeheartedly! We have to get it together folks! You’re only at a disadvantage if you believe you’re at a disadvantage, but no matter what I lack in this life, I will choose to believe that I still have everything I need because the God of the universe is my Father! I know that I’m good enough because His Spirit lives in me, and I know that I can do whatever I put my heart and mind to because the same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead is at work in me! Let’s make a declaration to only speak what the Word says. Ephesians 4:29 will be our declaration, and it says, “Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen.” Apply this scripture to your life. Speak the Word instead of speaking your feelings! Say things that’s going to build you up, not tear you down. We eventually walk into the things we say! Make sure you’re speaking the right things. No one is going to feel sorry for you having a pity party or complaining! It’s only going to attract spirits that draw you into depression, fear, doubt and anxiety. Come out of that! Stop feeling sorry for yourself. Your situation doesn’t dictate who you are, the Word of God does! You must come out of that mindset of being double minded. Fight those thoughts or those feelings that go against the Word of God! Fight them with His Word. Jesus said in Matthew 12:36-37, “But I tell you that everyone will have to give account on the day of judgment for every empty word they have spoken. For by your words you will be acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned.” 🗣🗣🗣 STOP SPEAKING EMPTY WORDS! Empty words hold weight and have power but they are not beneficial for building you up, they only weigh you down. Don’t declare your problems, declare God’s promises over your life! Your problems are temporary but the Word of God stands forever and according to 2 Corinthians 1:20, “ For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us.”
