No, with good reason.

If God gave us everything we wanted we would be some jacked up people… even more jacked up than we are now. We will be ungrateful, impatient and irresponsible with the things He’s given us. When we go through the hard times, or when God doesn’t give us what we’re asking for, that’s where our character is developed. We get to see if we are really walking by faith and not by sight, and do we really trust God’s will for our lives? Trials are where we gain strength, wisdom, perspective and revelation! We go through, which is training, that prepares us for the things ahead. Going through also teaches us how to manage and appreciate the blessings that God gives us. God is still a good God, even when He tells us no! If He says no, rest assured it’s for a good reason. Just because you think something is good, doesn’t mean it’s good for you! Just like when you were a kid, and you asked your momma to buy you some candy, and she said no. You probably threw a fit because you wanted that sugary goodness in your mouth, but your momma knew that not only was it bad for your teeth, it was bad for her nerves because you would’ve been running around crazy all night on a sugar high! Listen, there are things that God does that you may not understand now, but you’ll appreciate Him for it later. If God gave us every single thing that we wanted our love for Him would not be sincere, it would be based on what He could do for us, and not for who He is. We would treat Him like a genie instead of our Father and our King. Not only that, but we’d be too immature to manage most of the things we’re praying for. The truth is, we want it now, but we won’t be ready for it until later, because there are some lessons to be learned. There’s some training we need in order to be positioned for the things we’re praying for. You can’t expect someone to offer you a job to run their company, only for you to run their company into the ground! No, you must be qualified, experienced and well trained! Same thing applies to those blessings you’re praying for. Remember, faith without works is dead! Yes, God can do anything, but what are you doing to show Him that you’re ready for what you’re praying for? Are you working towards your goals, even when you don’t see any results? You gotta be in this thing for the long haul, because faith doesn’t make things easy, it makes them possible with Christ! Your good days and your bad days are equally important. There’s lessons and blessings in both, because God’s grace is in both, the good times and the bad! I believe the apostle Paul said, “His grace is sufficient.” The bad days teaches us a lesson and the good days makes us appreciate the lesson, because we know that had it not been for the Lord, who was on our side, there’s no telling where we’d be! There’s a blessing, even in His “No.” Him telling you no, will do one of two things, either save your life or change your life… sometimes it does both! 😉 Psalm 84:11 English Standard Version
For the LORD God is a sun and shield; the LORD bestows favor and honor. No good thing does he withhold from those who walk uprightly.
