We gotta stop doing God’s will our way, and start doing God’s will His way; because doing things our way gets in the way of what God is trying to do in our lives. Sometimes we delay our blessings because we’re trying to rush the process, and instead of us getting those desires of our heart fulfilled faster, it ends up taking longer. Ecclesiastes 3:1 says, “There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens.” So don’t rush the process, trust the process. There’s lessons to be learned so that we are prepared to manage the blessings ahead. John 15:2 says, “He cuts off every branch of mine that doesn’t produce fruit, and he prunes the branches that do bear fruit so they will produce even more.” You know what this means? God is constantly making room for more in your life, but He can’t make room for more, if you’re constantly in the way. If you refuse to let go of the things He’s pulling away, or if you’re too comfortable with where you are, how can you grow? How can God take you to the next level if you’re trying to do His Will your way? Sometimes we feel like we need to keep a handle on things so that we’re always in control, but not everything is meant for us to control. There’s just some things in life that are out of our control. God wants us to trust His plan in every situation, but all too often if it’s out of our control, we get out of control and ignore plan A (God’s plan) and immediately move to plan B (our plan). We become anxious and begin to act as if God’s plan is flawed or He made a mistake, and in our minds it’s up to us to fix God’s plan with our human logic. Smh… Or because we are unsure of what God’s will is in the midst of our situation, we panic and try to protect ourselves from what we believe is an unfavorable outcome. We need to remember that God can do anything though. He will not leave us high and dry. Just because our situation doesn’t look the way we pictured it, doesn’t mean our life is over. God will work it out for our good! Listen, God’s plan works 100% of the time. We just need to have faith in God, 100% of the time. We may think that our plan is good, but if we don’t allow the Lord to completely order our steps in the matter, that plan is a fail. “We can make our plans, but the LORD determines our steps.” — Proverbs 16:9 Aren’t you glad that we have a Father who just won’t give up on us? It’s time that we truly let His will be done in our lives, so that we can walk into the blessings He has in store for us, and live the abundant life that He has called us to live.
