Take care of you.

I’ve been nourishing my spirit and neglecting my body! If you think that taking care of your body isn’t just as important as taking care of your soul, then you’re mistaken. God wants us to live a balanced life. 1 Corinthians 6:19-20, “Don’t you realize that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, who lives in you and was given to you by God? You do not belong to yourself.

For you are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.” Listen to your body people! Do not work yourself to an early grave and don’t allow anyone to tell you that you have no choice, because you do! Choose a career that you’re passionate about! One with purpose.

You don’t have to work to fulfill someone else’s dream, meanwhile you never fulfill yours because you don’t have the strength for it! I don’t care how good the benefits are, and how much money you make, if you can’t bring your sanity or the good health that you started with home, then it’s time to do something else. Your body will give you signs when it needs attention. Don’t ignore these signs because you’re too busy trying to make a living! You can’t make a living if you’re dead. 🤷🏾‍♀️

We all have bills, a family and our own dreams and aspirations. It takes money to handle our responsibilities. The thing is, if you don’t have the health, how are you going to enjoy the money? As far as jobs are concerned; do what you can, not what you feel you have to do! You don’t have to run up your check and run your health into the ground at the same time.

That job isn’t your source! God is! If He made a way through that job, He can make an even better way through another! Don’t just live to work and die. Live with purpose, because the fulfillment of doing what you were created to do, will teach you to appreciate your body more. ❤️
