When you look in the mirror what do you see? I’m not talking about a random glance in the mirror while getting ready for work or when you’re at the sink washing your hands. Have you really looked at yourself lately and did a self evaluation? If not I challenge you to do it. I am doing it myself.
The next time you’re in front of a mirror look at yourself. The good, the bad and the ugly. I’m not just talking physical either. Look deep inside yourself and speak to that little girl that everyone use to pick on for being over weight or that young man that everyone laughed at in high school because he didn’t have name brand shoes like the “in crowd.” Perhaps you’ve had your heart broken and you feel like you will never be good enough because you’ve given your all time and time again and you always end up alone.
Speak to that person and speak life into that part of you. Tell that person that you love them and that they are good enough no matter how the world view them. We have to love ourselves flaws and all before anyone else can. How we view ourselves is going to determine how others will treat us.
It’s more spiritual than you think. Do the same thing keep happening with you but with different people or in different places? It’s because those forces that are against you knows that as long as you don’t recognize who you are in Christ then you will fall for anything and stand for nothing. It’s time to love yourself like God loves you. Loving yourself means forgiving yourself. Forgive others as well. It’s time to accept all of you and speak life and prosperity into every aspect of your life. You are more than a conqueror through him who loves you! Don’t just act like it. Live like it.
